It all begins with an acorn, that will grow into a mighty oak that can live for hundreds of years and see generations come and go. In the same way knitting begins with one single stitch, that will grow into a pair of socks to warm your feet. It’s a craft that will be inherited across generations and will warm more frozen feet in the far away future.

Squirrel’s stash are a pair of socks with lacework creating side to side acorn in flowing pattern. The sock is worked top down with and afterthought heel. Use two colors to create a contrasting effect between, ribbing, heel, toe and lacework. Or a single color to unify the parts.
