Square for a Quilt, Willow Leaf Pattern
by Weldons
From Weldon’s: “This exceedingly pretty square is composed of four separate triangular-shaped pieces of knitting joined together cornerways; the pattern consists of four raised leaves, which, meeting together in the centre of the square, are surrounded, first of all with an insertion worked in diamond knitting, and then with a spiral border.”
In the book, the pictures for the Willlow Leaf Pattern and for the Group of Palm Leaves Pattern are reversed. There is no chart or diagram, all the information is written out.
