Square-cut Blanket
This reversible blanket is completely worked in one piece, beginning with the bottom border. The blanket comes in three sizes and two style options: a single colour blanket or blanket with contrast borders using the intarsia technique.
The square stitch pattern is made up of alternating stocking stitch and purl fabric squares each with an inner square of purl fabric or stocking stitch, respectively.
The stitch pattern can be worked from the chart or the written instructions.
The blanket edges are bordered with moss stitch.
This blanket is suitable for advanced beginners however more experienced knitters will enjoy the interesting stitch effect and techniques used. Knitters need to be confident with casting stitches on and off, and also able to work both knit and purl stitches across the same row.
