Double Crochet Diagonal
The simplest shaping worked in double crochet uses increases (two dc in one stitch) with decreases (dc2tog). This is very similar to using increases and decreases in half double crochet, except that late color changes are not used because they don’t work as well with taller double crochet stitches as they do with the shorter half-double crochet stitches.
