Die Socken werden in Runden vom Bündchen beginnend bis zur Bandspitze gearbeitet. Die Ferse wird bis zum Käppchen in Hin- und Rückreihen und mit verkürzten Reihen als Hufeisenferse gearbeitet. Danach wird durch Zu- und Abnahmen die restliche Ferse geformt. Ein einfaches Strukturmuster zieht sich über Schaft und Fußrücken.

Design & construction
The Spumante Socks are worked in the round from cuff to tip with a simple yet effective textured pattern. The heel is worked back and forth with short rows as a horseshoe heel. The rest of the heel is shaped by increasing and decreasing stitches. The structural pattern extends over the leg and instep. The instructions describe the Magic Loop method with circular needles, but of course double pointed needles can also be used.
