PATTERN NOTES
Spruce is worked flat in one piece from the bottom upwards. A two-colour rib leads into the stranded colourwork Spruce pattern before working in one colour up to the cast off at the neck. The sleeves are worked separately and seamed in place before picking up stitches for the neck and button bands.
When casting off, cast off knitwise on RS knit rows, and purlwise on WS purl rows.
