Spring Sparkle has gorgeous allover lace with openwork diamonds. The intricate looking lace pattern is surprisingly simple and relaxing to knit. The lace is worked on the right side only, and there’s no purling!

The size of this bottom up triangle shawl is easy to modify, so you can make it as big as you want. Or simply keep going until you run out of yarn.

Spring Sparkle works well with solid, semi-solid and slightly speckled yarns. Which one will you choose?

YARN
Two skeins of Primrose Yarn Co. Adelaide (100% merino; 398 m / 435 yds per 115 g). Shown in colour Dior.

Or approximately 607 m / 664 yds of similar fingering weight yarn.

NEEDLES
Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge

This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using 80 – 100 cm / 32 – 40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
