Spring Monarch Newsboy and Beret
The Spring Monarch is a lighter, less dense version of our Monarch Beret and Newsboy pattern, using bulky yarn instead of super bulky yarn. The Monarch is so named because the shape reminds me of a kings crown. The ribbed sections give the hat great character and structure. Add a brim, a buckle and strap to turn the beret into a newsboy hat.
This pattern is written in American crochet terms and is appropriate for an intermediate and beyond.
