Spring Fever Day Scarf & Shawl
This is a listing for two patterns: a neck scarf and a shawl, you will receive both PDFs when you purchase this pattern.
It’s spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you’ve got it, you want—oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! -Mark Twain

I’ve wanted to make a small shawl/scarf since I started wearing a silk scarf from Ballerina Farm. I follow their account on Instagram and Hannah often dons a square silk scarf around her neck for a bit of warmth. But it’s also very stylish. Even her kids wear them! The way it is tied from front to back and then anchored with a small knot in the front makes it perfect for keeping on a cool spring breeze. I tried to emulate this in knit form with this lovely color from Brown Sheep which just reminds me of spring flowers.
PRINTING NOTE: This is a checklist pattern; it is not necessary to print the entire pattern if you prefer not to use the checkboxes for each section.
PATTERN NOTES: The scarf is worked flat from the
top down. Increases happen on every row. There are
three bind off options: beaded or picot or plain.
