Purchase a spool knitter or make your own (see tutorial links below).

Cord for ‘apple’ is worked with 2 strands of yarn. Cord for ‘leaf’ is worked with 1 strand of yarn.

Coil and sew the Coaster together. If desired, use contrast color to embroider a few leaves.
