Spooky Ghost
This pattern is no longer available.
This amigurumi ghost sure is spooky!! It doesn’t need to be Halloween to scare your home visitors. Bring a touch of horror into your house!
This little guy was created as a gift for my sister, which is why it has a personalized embroidery on the bottom (not part of the instructions).
The material is nice and soft, so the ghost could very well serve as a children’s toy. Why would you make a boring teddy bear for your child, when you can make him a scary ghost? You know you want to :)
The bottom can be a little bit of a challenge if you’re a beginner, I would say it’s getting in the “intermediate” bracket.
The pattern includes:
- list of crochet stitch abbreviations
- written instructions
- photos of some of the steps
- washing instructions
Stitches you’ll need to know:
Ch, Esc, Sl st, Sc, Dc, Tr, Dc3tog
Essentials:
Use crochet hook 5mm (8) with Drops Nepal yarn (wool and alpaca, yarn group C, color: white).
Use crochet hook 2,5 mm with thin black yarn of your choice.
You’ll also need embroidery or bigger tapestry needle and something to stuff the toy with (I used washed unprocessed wool, but you can also use regular polyester fiber fill).
