Spont Mittens
The Spont Mittens are knitted in the round, from the bottom up. They begin with a rib after which the colourwork pattern begins. The thumb is shaped with a gusset and knitted in a simple pattern. Once the desired number of thumb sts are reached, they are put on hold. The top of the mitten is grafted, and the thumb is finished last.
