These mitts are super warm and cozy. No, they aren’t sleek. Yes, they are the warmest fingerless mitts I have bar none. The pattern gives instructions for knitting a flat fabric with special eye to details for the selvedges and seam. I prefer to knit heavy yarns on straight needles and I thought it would be cool to offer a pattern for those not used to knitting in the round. It’s a good choice for a first lace project because of this. The thumb is super easy, just like the thumb on Kerfuffle. These work up fast and make great gifts. There are tips for sizing, working in lighter weight yarns, etc, included in the pattern.

BTW, I was able to knit these from one 130 yd skein of Mecha, but just barely. Probably had 10 yds left over if that. I knit true to needle size…that is not too loose or tight. So you might want to buy a second skein to be safe.

Also, since these match the Spiraling Leaves Wrap, if you buy one pattern, you get the other for 50% off. Always.
