How’s that? A yarn crawl? Yep - even if you can’t travel, or shops aren’t able to open yet, we’re on: the Slow Crawl is virtual again this year, too! That actually means you can join in from anywhere!
Get a passport from this shop or other participating shops (they’re $10)
Starting May 26th, visit all the shops - online, or safely in person
Each participating shop will give you the download codes for their pattern and a sticker or stamp for your passport (purchase required for virtual “visits”)
Fill up your passport, and be eligible for prizes!

I’ve been having fun playing with colorwork, and wanted to create a piece that uses cables of different colors to create a multi-layer 3D effect in the fabric. This pattern uses Mosaic/Slipped stitch knitting to complete, so each color is worked for x2 rounds at a time, slipping only the cable stitches of the opposite color (purl-wise). It is extremely helpful to know how to do a 1/1 cable cross without using a cable needle- written instructions will be provided in the text instructions. The pattern as written is for socks to fit women’s shoe size 5-7. To increase/decrease size, stitches/subtracted in multiples of 4 to accommodate the stitch repeat of the pattern.
