Doodling with Yarn

Finished Size: Before fulling: 12” long (when folded in half) by 30 1/2” circumference. After fulling: 8 1/2” long by 26” circumference with cuff unfolded.

Fiber: Llama or alpaca fiber

Hat Yarn: Soft 2-ply yarn that measures 50-62 yards per ounce and 10 wraps per inch.

Embroidery Yarn: 2-ply yarn (62-75 yards per ounce) spun at a slightly higher ratio that measures 12 wraps per inch.

Hook: US size J or K (6 or 6.5 mm) crochet hook for worsted-weight yarn; US size G (4mm) for sportweight yarn.

Supplies: Tapestry needle; beads; hat form; top-loading washing machine.
