Nothing like wrapping yourself or your loveds ones up in a squishy and cozy cowl covered in with yummy cables. The Spiced Cider Cowl is mate to the Spiced Cider Scarf.

Modify the length to whatever suits your preference to make the cowl shorter or longer. Have fun with the cables - they look intricate, but are simple and keep you on your toes!

Aran or a heavy worsted weight yarn is perfect for this
project.

YARN
Designed for Aran weight yarn. Uses a total of 350 yd/320 m.

Sample Yarn:
Blue Sky Fibers Extra (55% Camelid Alpaca, 45% Merino Wool, 218 yd/199 m, 150g) in Still Water (3516).

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
US 9/5.5 mm, straight or circular needles.

GAUGE
18 sts x 24 rows = 4”/10 cm in 2x2 rib, knit flat and blocked.
Note: Gauge is not crucial for this project, but differences will affect finished dimensions and yardage.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
UNBLOCKED FLAT:
47.75” L x 8” W / 121 cm L x 20 cm W

BLOCKED FLAT:
51” L x 9” W / 129.5 cm L x 22.5 cm W
