Pattern notes
Blanket is worked back and forth in rows using a combination of
mosaic crochet and tapestry crochet techniques. Do not turn after each row: beg each row on RS after fastening off yarn at end of previous row. Yarn tails of Main Blanket section will be hidden in Border section; to make sure work is secure, beg every row with slipknot on hook and end every row with a ch. Refer to Yarn Colours Table for which yarn colours to use in Rows 22 onwards of Main Blanket section. In tapestry crochet sections, carry unused yarn along as you work, enclosing it within sts as you go. Change yarn colour in last yoh of st before change as folls: insert hook in st, yoh, pull up loop, yoh in new colour and draw through all loops.
The pattern for the Spellbinding Blanket appears in YARN Bookazine 16 - Shimmerland, published by Scheepjes. YARN Bookazine is available in print in both UK English and Dutch language and is available from Scheepjes retailers.
