This Christmas stocking decoration uses a fluffy tinsel eyelash yarn to add some sparkle to the top. The stocking is worked flat (knitted back and forth) on single pointed needles, not in the round, and uses short rows for shaping. The hanging loop is a single crochet chain worked on a crochet hook. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the stocking is knitted in DK weight yarns.

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6)

RECOMMENDED YARN
King Cole Moments DK, 100% polyester, in shade White, and Hayfield Bonus DK, 100% acrylic, in Orchid Pink and Emerald.

Tapestry needle and a 4mm crochet hook.

One size only - 23cm tall (without the loop).
