Spanish Tile Hat
Hexagon shapes reminiscent of Spanish tile patterns cover this two-color hat, finished off with an I-cord “button”.
Materials
Yarn
Approximately 50 grams (100 to 110 yards) Worsted Weight yarn (A)
Approximately 25 grams (50 to 55 yards) Worsted Weight yarn (B)
Needles
Small/Medium: US 8 – 5.0 mm needles or size needed to give gauge
Large/Extra-Large: US 9 – 5.5 mm needles or size needed to give gauge
Gauge
Small/Medium: 20 sts x 21 rnds = 4” on US #8 needles in Stockinette Stitch color pattern.
Large/Extra-Large: 18 sts x 21 rnds = 4” on US #9 needles in Stockinette Stitch color pattern.
Note: These hats are surprising stretchy, so will accommodate a variety of head sizes.
