Male sweater with a straight silhouette with ~1-2cm/1” of positive ease and two options for edging.
You start with the round yoke knit flat sideways in Garter stitch using short-rows. Then it’s sewn together and worked in the round. Body and sleeves are worked top-down in the round.
Pattern includes instructions for two ribbing options: in one color and corrugated rib 11.

Yarn: sport-weight wool (can be 300-350m/320-380yds per 100g/3.5oz, as long as it gives gauge).
The sample was knit out of LoroPiana ~630m/689yds per 100g/3.5oz (50% merino wool, 50% cashmere) worked double stranded.

Needles:

Main (for the body and sleeves): 3.75 mm/US 5(or size to get gauge in Stockinette) circulars on a 60 cm/24” cable;
Yoke: 3.5mm/US 4 (or size to get gauge in Garter) circulars on a 60 cm/24”cable;
Edging: 3mm/US 2.5 (or size to get gauge in Garter) circulars on a 60 cm/24”cable + DPN’s;

Notions: 1 button (for children sizes from 1yr to 6-7 yrs), crochet hook1, stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle, scissors, waste yarn/ stitch holder/extra cable.

Gauge (on main needles measured per 10x10 cm/4x4” square after wet blocking)
In Garter Stitch - 20stitches by 20 garter ridges (40 rows)
In Stockinette – 22 stitches by 28 rows

Adult sizes are for an average height of ~178cm/5.8ft.
