Space Oddity
Space Oddity is a simple garter stitch shawl with easy yarn over increases. These are placed at each edge and in the center, building the shawl up and out from a short cast on. Knit out of Debbie Bliss Falkland Aran, or any soft, squishy worsted weight yarn. This shawl is warm and soft with beautiful drape. This is a fun, quick project that offers lots of room for your own color experiments.
Materials required:
US 10 circular needle, 40” (this is to accommodate the large amount of stitches you’ll have by the end of the pattern)
Stitch markers
This pattern can also be a great stash buster if you’ve got some leftover worsted or aran weight yarn lying around- play with your own color combinations!
Errata if purchased before 11/22/16: Set up row should read k1, yo, pm, k1, pm, yo, k1.
