This is a great simple scarf project for those times when you just want the meditative rhythm of knitting. Sometimes I just want to knit - watching TV, sitting outside listening to the birds, or at the end of a long day.

I include the color changes, but really you can simply pick where you change because it feels and looks right!

72% Kid Mohair, 28% Silk; 435 yd / 1.7 oz (400m / 50g) skeins
3 skeins - one each of three colors, shown in Bokhara (blue), Spiked Punch (purple), and Ziggy Stardust (variegated)

Or approximately 900 yards/820 meters of fuzzy lace weight yarn.

Needles
US Size 8 5.0 mm circular needles, 24”/60 cm or size to obtain gauge

Gauge
Blocked: 20 stitches and 22 rows = 4“/10 cm in stockinette stitch.

Gauge is not crucial for this project, but will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.
