These fingerless mittens are knitted in Jamieson & Smith’s 2ply Jumper Weight 100% Real Shetland Wool. The pattern comes in two sizes, using two different needle sizes, but with the same number of stitches. The name of the pattern comes from the Gaelic name Somhairle, meaning ‘summer-wanderer’.
