A simple yet adorable textured pattern created by twisting stitches gives this little bonnet a delicate feel. Sophia’s Bonnet will keep your little one’s head warm and toasty during cold days. Knit on 5 mm (US 8) needles and worsted weight yarn, this is a quick and satisfying knit.

Sophia’s Bonnet is initially worked flat and then joined in the round for decreases and crown shaping. I-cords are added at the end.

If using a different worsted weight yarn than suggested on this pattern, this is the approximate yardage you will need:

0-3 m 65 yds / 60 m
3-6 m 65 yds / 60 m
6-12 m 86 yds / 79 m
1-3 yrs 86 yds / 79 m
4-10 yrs 108 yds / 99 m

1 ball of Berroco Ultra Alpaca = 100 g / 215 yds / 197 m
