A yoke sweater with simple lace and wrapped stitches

This pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.

This sweater is knitted in the round from the top down. The back of the sweater is shaped with German short rows. Decorative Wrapped Stitches (a video tutorial is included in the pattern) create subtle bobbles around the yoke and hem. Instructions are written for short sleeves and long sleeves.

The sample was knit in Size 2 with 13.5 cm / 5¼” positive ease at bust. Suggested ease: + 7.5 to 15 cm / 3 to 6”

NEEDLES

One 3 mm / US 2½ circular needle, 40 cm / 16” or longer
One 3.25 mm / US 3 circular needle, 60 cm / 24” or longer
One (set) each 3 mm / US 2½ and 3.25 mm / US 3 preferred needles for working sleeves in the round.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTIONS

Stitch markers, stitch holder or waste yarn, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

GAUGE

26 sts and 38 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Stockinette st with 3.25 mm / US 3 needle, after blocking.
