The “Bob Blanket”, a perennial favorite at Lakeside Yarn, has been revamped to create several multi-colored garter stitch striped garments in different gauge yarns and fiber contents. The original pattern, now out of print, required cutting the yarn after every row and reattaching at the beginning of each row to accommodate the fringe. But this version is knit in the round and has a built-in fringe which is dropped down and braided once the knitting is completed.
