The Sommertag - summer day in German - Pullover is, like its round neck Alltags Sweater sister, an easy to knits sweater with a simple design and can be worn every day without any hesitation. This sweater features a deep V-neck. Two strands of summer DK yarn are knitted together in a loose gauge with 5.5 mm US 9 needles. First, the yoke is worked back and forth while increasing stitches at the front V-neck edges and for the back and fronts. Then, stitches are increased for the shoulders. After increasing stitches for the underarms, the fronts are joined while the sleeves are separated at the underarms and the body and sleeves are worked separately in the round to the hem. To finish, stitches are picked up around the V-neck edge and worked in the round.
