Something New, Something Blue
Made in Fashionable Blue…. This Novel Spring Jumper Will Make Instant Appeal.
CLUSTER stitch — doesn’t the name intrigue you? Simple to do, and effective when finished, you’ll find this jumper eminently suitable for the spring wardrobe. With its open stitch and low cut neck, it gives necessary coolness, and yet the cosy sleeves retain the warmth when the treacherous sun disappears. LATER, as the season advances, it could be made without the deep-ribbed cuffs.
Just work about an inch of ribbing, then start the lace pattern, and you will have those sweet puffed sleeves so beloved by all.
A SQUARE YOKE in the intriguing cluster pattern stitch, with plain knitting carried high above the waist from the basque, is the interesting note in this springlike jumper. Note the sleeves, softly puffed above the elbow.
