- Aran weight yarn; samples are made with Plymouth Yarn Homestead, Aran weight, 100% wool, 191 yds/175 m/100 g, in color MC - 4 Lt Great Heather, 1 skein for the body of 2 bunnies.
- Boy Bunny - Small amounts of CC1 - Harrisville Designs WATERshed in color 921 Mallard (under 15 g) for clothes.
- Girl Bunny - Small Amounts of CC1 - Plymouth Yarn Homestead in color 1 Natural (under 25 g) for clothes.
- tapestry needle, scissors, polyester fiberfill, small button for the dress, black embroidery thread for face embroidery
Construction Overview
- Head worked seamlessly, in the round, starting at the neck, and finishing with ears
- Body is worked seamlessly, in the round, starting at the neck, and finishing with German Short Rows to form the bottom
- Arms and legs worked seamlessly, in the round, and sewn onto the body
- Body and head lightly stuffed and sewed at the neck
- Suspenders and bow tie knit flat and sewed onto the boy bunny
- Dress is worked top-down, seamlessly, and finished with button closure
- Face details embedded using black embroidery thread
