Solomon’s trick scarf

One Man Crochet blogger Matt Spiers is passionate about pattern. He says: “I think of an idea, then figure out how to recreate it in stitches. I like to make my designs fun, something that gives the crocheter a challenge but something they can get into a groove with while making. I love geometry, repetition and tessellation, which I try to bring into my designs. You often get unexpected results with crochet – a design can come out looking very different from an initial sketch! This design started off based on diamond structures, but I noticed that it has similarities to Solomon’s knot, albeit more solid and with a completely different approach.”
