Soleil d'Or
Soleil d’Or means golden sun, and is the second shawl in the Light Cycle Collection, in which each design represents a different part of the day/night cycle, and plays with the idea of light as both a wave and a particle.
Soleil d’Or is a simple, relaxing knit which includes an optional plain section, followed by two main sections (waves and particles!), each in easy, short charts that are indefinitely repeatable, so sizing is totally adaptable.
Or the waves and particles could even be worked in reverse order.
Optional light beading.
Written and charted, with pattern rows on the right side only.
Can be adapted from lace weight up to DK by adjusting needle size.
Many thanks to MadlaineYarn and Elegnad of http://www.madlaine.fr/ for the French translation.
