Gentle waves of sunlight embrace your curves in this classic fitted top. Instructions for precise figure shaping are included for a truly custom fit. Solana is knit in the round until the armholes, then continues back and forth with shaping for set in sleeves. With few purl rows or turning to slow you down, you’ll zip right through this lightweight top. Suitable for the intermediate knitter.
Sizes: Bust/hips: 3032, 34; 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46 48, 50, 52 inches
Waist: 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 inches smaller than bust/hips
Length: 20½21, 21, 21½, 21½, 22, 22, 22½, 22½, 23, 23, 23½ inches (adjustable)
Yarn: Aprx 900960, 1020, 1080, 1140, 1200, 1260, 1320, 1380, 1440, 1500, 1560 yds of sock weight yarn. Shown in 40’ size: 2.5 skeins of Cascade yarns Heritage sock yarn, color 5611, 437 yds = 100 gm
Gauge: 8 stitches/inch, 10 rows/inch
Needles: 1 circular needle aprx. 2 inches shorter than waist. US3 (3.25mm) or size to obtain gauge.
