July’s blanket and picnic spread offer perfect cottony coolness for the heat of summer. The paired recipes include garden picnic pockets and luscious blackberry oat pancakes.

The name Sola comes from the latin name for the humble potato. This picnic set includes a table cloth and napkins knit from the center out with edging knit on afterwards. Both pieces are worked the same way, although the napkin has fewer repeats of lace around the edges because it is smaller.
