Sol Queen
Sol Queen is a fun top down knit with crescent construction that ends as a subtle triangular shaped shawl. I’ve combined 2 color brioche in Melted Baby Suri (Hero) and Pure Merino Fingering (Young Ginger) from Qing Fibre with garter triangles and eyelet rows to make this fun, bold, geometric pattern.
MATERIALS
US 5 40” circular needles
400 yards of Fingering weight yarn (Color A in pattern, Qing Fibre, Qing Singles - Young Ginger) 220 yards of Textured Fingering weight yarn (Color B in pattern, Qing Fibre, Melted Baby Suri - Hero) (NOTE: If substituting yarn for your textured Color B, think suri alpaca, or mohair held double.)
4 stitch markers
MEASUREMENTS
74” wingspan, 16” long

GAUGE
15 stitches and 18 rows = 4” in two color brioche stitch on US 5 needles. Or size needed to obtain gauge.
