Soften is an asymetric half circle shawl, knitted from the bottom up. You can decide if you want a dark to light gradient or the opposite, or just simply 2 colors, that is really only up to you and your mood!

SIze:
80 in. wide by 22 in. deep (203 cm by 56 cm)

Gauge:
15 stitches and 28 rows = 4x4 in.
In lace blocked stockinette stitch, with the sport yarn.
Gauge is not critical for this shawl but please note that a change will affect the final size!

Yarn & Notions:

• 1 skein of Orange Flower MCS Sport (merino 75%- cashmere 15% - silk 10%- approx. 362 m/396 yds)
• 5 mini skeins (30gr) of Orange Flower 5050 fingering (merino 50%- silk 50% - 118 m/130 yds) or approx. 360m/395 yds of sport weight yarn for main color and 400m/435 yds of fingering yarn for contrasting color.
• Circular needles to get gauge (Suggested size 5 mm/US #8)
• Stitch markers

Soften est un châle asymétrique en demi cercle, il se tricote du bas vers le haut, vous pouvez donc tricoter le gradient du plus foncé au plus clair ou le contraire, ou tout simplement en 2 couleurs ! A vous de voir !

Dimensions :
200 cm de largeur / 55 cm de profondeur après blocage.

Echantillon :
15 mailles x 28 rangs
pour 10 x 10 cm de jersey bloqué «dentelle» avec la plus grosse laine (la laine est volontairement tricotée déjaugée pour un rendu très aérien, il est donc normal que le rendu ne soit pas très régulier avant le blocage)
L’échantillon n’est pas critique pour ce châle, cependant notez bien que toute modification affectera la taille finale et la quantité nécessaire de fil !

Fournitures & Matériel :

• 1 écheveau de MCS Sport de Orange Flower (75 % mérinos - 15% cachemire - 10% soie - env. 362 mètres)

• 5 mini-écheveaux de 30 gr de 5050 fingering de Orange Flower (50% mérinos - 50% soie - 118 mètres) ou approximativement 380 mètres de fil de type «Sport» pour la couleur principale et 400 mètres de fil de type «Fingering» pour la couleur contrastante permettant d’obtenir l’échantillon.

• Aiguilles circulaires nécessaires pour obtenir l’échantillon (taille suggérée : 5,5 mm)

• Anneaux marqueurs.
