We used 2 colors of the lace yarn, one was for main part of the scarf and another for trim. We love this project, because it’s so soft and worm. Even though the scarf is felted it stays pliable because of the fine alpaca, so its very comfortable around your neck.
Depending on your washing machine you might get a slightly different size then ours. If you want to have more control over size and shape, try hand felting it once knitted.
