INTRODUCTION: This ample shawl has a secret for flawless wearing: a button closure at the back neck.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Intermediate
YARN:
Fingering weight yarn, Total yardage: 600 yds/549m
Sample in The Fibre Co. Canopy Fingering, 50% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 20% viscose from Bamboo
NEEDLE: US 6 / 4 MM or size needed to obtain gauge
GAUGE: 26 sts by 34 rows in 4”/10cm (in 1x1 rib after blocking)
NOTIONS: cable needle, stitch markers, button, tapestry needle, crochet hook (for button hole making if desired)
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 52” wide by 29” long / 132 cm wide by 74 cm long
