Sofia is worked in one piece from the hem to the underarms, then worked separately for the fronts and back. Neck and armhole shaping is worked at the same time. A button band is picked up from the fronts and back neck, with buttonholes placed using one-row buttonholes. Pockets are worked separately and sewn on to the fronts after completion.
