This is a simple scarf with long ends. It consists of three sections: increase section, straight section and decrease section. You can easily adjust the length and the width. Be careful though because the mesh pattern has a tendency to stretch in the length after blocking.

You can improvise with colours and make one half in one colour and the other in another one. Or each section in a different colour. Or use variegated yarn.

The gauge is not important and you can use practically any yarn you like. Sock yarn would be ideal but you can also try some cotton or linen for a lighter version. Be sure that the fabric is not tight.
