These socks have a lace racking pattern reminiscent of the ‘clocks’ in men’s silk socks.

Instructions are given for Passap and Superba machines for the leg of the sock which is mostly knit flat before the stitches are transferred to circular for the rest of the sock. The knitter is instructed to follow the general directions given with their machines for turning to tubular knitting, heels and toes.
