I love making custom projects, so when a friend asked me to make a sock monkey Christmas tree skirt for her epic sock monkey themed Christmas celebration I jumped at the opportunity to create a new pattern.

My vision was twelve little sock monkeys with linked arms and smiling faces. Once the project was complete I realized that the linked arms formed a double star at the center of the skirt.

My friend was thrilled with the finished project and I am happy I can share my pattern with other sock monkey enthusiasts.

This piece is knit flat, as twelve separate little monkeys and then joined.
