Sock hop
by Judith Avery
From the description: Self-patterning or auto-jacquard yarn is the hottest product for sock-knitting addicts. Entire books have been devoted to the enticing, colourful stuff, but it isn’t just for socks. The inspiration behind this garment was to see how well self-striping yarn would make the leap to larger dimensions, so a child’s jumper seemed a good choice. We’ve added a buttoning shoulder as a nod to this jumper’s Fair Isle heritage.
Notions: Straight pins, tapestry needle for sewing up, 3 small buttons for shoulder.
