The standard pattern to which I knit my plain socks - now in written form!

Compiled mainly as a tool for teaching beginner classes, I thought this would be a good starting off point before anybody wants to venture into more complex sock designs.

Works best in conjunction with a size chart that is available from most commercial sock yarn companies, in case you are not 100% confident about sizing yet.
