ABOUT THE PATTERN
This pattern is a perfect choice for a cozy pair of true winter socks! The beautiful, classic cable design combined with tweed yarn creates an ideal duo that evokes warmth, comfort, and timeless style. The socks are knitted in four sections: leg, heel, foot, and toes.

SIZES
ONE SIZE - this pattern is intended for an average adult female foot - 21 - 22.5 cm / 8 - 8.75’’.

GAUGE
28 stitches x 40 rounds in stockinette on 2.5 mm / US 1.5 needles = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” after blocking, knitted in the round.

NEEDLES
2.25 mm / US 1 AND 2.5 mm / US 1.5 circular needles with a 80 cm / 32” cord (magic loop).

YARN
1 skein of Superba Tweed 4 ply by Rico (60% wool, 30% polyamide, 7% polyacryl - 100 g / 375 m 410 yds).

The sample was knitted with Superba Tweed 4 ply in 001 color. 

NOTIONS
