Using 2 colourways, the sheep is worked in pieces then seamed, Charts are included for the intarsia colourwork. Diagrams show how to embroider the eyes with chain stitch and how to embroider the nose/mouth with satin stitch.

This sweet toy matches the intarsia cardigan included with the pattern.

TENSION

• 22 sts and 28 rows to 10cm (4in) over stocking stitch using 4mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
• The toy uses 3¼mm needles throughout.
  Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
