These are a simple knit with a small amount of short rows worked to give more wriggle room in the booty, full instructions are given. If you have not tried short rows before, this would be a good place to start. Why? I will let you into a little secret, the heathered appearance of the yarn will hide your stitches, it is so forgiving.
