SNOW Mitts
SNOW Mitts is a stranded, fingerless mitts pattern with an all-over snowflake design. The snowflakes are more random than they are in most other fair isle patterns, which means the repeats are sometimes longer, and carrying yarns is less predictably even. A fun challenge to colorwork lovers! The result is a pair of uniquely beautiful winter mitts that are warm without being bulky. The pattern includes instructions for my signature now-you-see-it, now-you-don’t secret pocket, great for storing cash, key, tissues or metro card. Layer over gloves, as shown, to keep those texting fingers warm. And, because you knit them with Knit Picks Stroll fingering yarn, the mitts are machine washable. I have included important information on color dominance. Look for the socks, hat and headband patterns featuring the same all-over snowflake design, too.
