24 sts and 48 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Garter st.

NOTES
• The cowl begins flat with a garter tab, then increases four stitches (one at each edge and one at each side of the central vertical line) every RS row.
• The edges are then joined and the cowl is worked in the round with only two increases every other round (one at each side of the central vertical line). The bottom garter edge is worked in the round with no more increases and finished with a picot bind-off.
