Snow Flurries Wrap
I love clothing with a dramatic flair: flowing cloaks, scarves and shawls are my favorite. Perhaps I was influenced by a steady diet of classic movies as a child. My mother was a huge fan, and I would sit with her for hours, watching Audrey and Katherine Hepburn (our favorites), Claudette Colbert and Ingrid Bergman. And then I would go to bed, my mind full of images of incredible women, impeccably dressed.
This hooded shawl harkens back to those amazing women and their dramatic and varied wardrobes. As you slip your hood on, you become the lovely and stylish heroine. Casting a haughty backwards glance at your lover, you throw your shawl over a shoulder, open the door and step out into the snowy night.
Pattern Notes
This over-sized reversible hooded shawl is knit at a somewhat loose gauge and fulled slightly in the dryer after assembly.
