The gauge shown is based on working with 2 strands of the worsted weight yarn held together.

The sizes are based on head circumference and depth (from crown to base of ear) measurements. (0-3 months…. circumference of 14-15” depth of 5”), (3-6 months….circumference of 15 - 16”, depth of 5.75”), (6-12 months….circumference of 17-18” and depth of 6-6.5”)
